Why Is Islam a Threat?
Why, among all the religions in the world, is Islam alone considered the most dangerous?
Because it is the religion I know best, because I am a former Muslim, and because what matters to me is the world I live in—the Islamic world. I believe Islam is the strongest and most influential of the Abrahamic religions, and it is the one that most effectively manipulates emotions and spirituality to convince people. Islam is the most totalitarian religion in its pursuit of global dominance, and its followers are often ignorant and isolated from the rest of the world. Their leaders use verbal and physical violence to achieve their goals and show little respect for human life.
This is why one of my top priorities, as a humanitarian duty, is to fight against deception and to criticize orthodox Islam. I believe that stopping this beast—this contagious disease that infects minds—is a great human victory against all religions, sects, and ideologies that uphold authoritarianism. It is also a triumph for freedom and a major step toward the responsible humanity that mankind deserves.
Such efforts would open the doors for the Islamic world to become civilized and to break free from the dead-end path in which it is trapped. Imagine an Islamic world without Islam, without its backward and oppressive ideas, without religious influence on politics, society, and people… I assure you, with all our natural resources, strategic locations, youthful energy, and free-thinking minds—if Islam were no longer there to suppress us—we would experience paradise on Earth.
Islam prevents this by all possible and impossible means, controlling minds and souls in ways that keep us from reaching our full potential.
